When you use your bank's online bill pay, the amount is withdrawn from your account and then a check is cut and mailed to Amwaste. Your payment will not be posted to your Amwaste account until that check is received. That entire process can take up to two weeks or more, depending on where your bank's processing center is located.
In order to have your payments posted in timely manner, it is advised that you log into your Amwaste online portal or contact Customer Care by phone to make your payment. Setting your payments up on autopay will also ensure that your account stays current.
